Quilting Day!

Well, finally got to quilt with my sister in law on Friday and I was so excited because she has a new bernina with the BSR, I couldn't wait to try it out. I can't tell you how dissapointing it was, first just getting the attachment on the machine and the right settings took three of us, and the BSR is supposed to regulate the stitches and they are supposed to be even no matter if you move your hands too fast or too slow , NOT! It took the same amount of effort and control as if you didn't have the BSR, needless to say we switched over to the walking foot and quilted away! I honestly felt dissapointed that the BSR was not all it's cracked up to be, but we had so much fun and got one quilt almost entirely done by 3:00 in the afternoon and Natalie was just so happy!

I know a freind of mine has the BSR foot and she said it took some time to get it working. I'm glad you enjoyed your day and got so much done. I have a Bernina and a Janome 6600. I really like both of them and enjoy each of their specialties. The Bernina is a 165e that my husband bought me right after we were married.

Well hope you have a great Sunday! Mine is being spent cleaning and figuring out some of the special features on my phone.

Regarding the counter...Jen put mine on for me....she helped me set up my first blog site and then helped me move it both times I moved.

I've heard that about the BSR. What a bummer that you pay all that extra money to end up feeling so let down. Did her dealer offer any classes? Maybe she needs a class just on the BSR; I mean it's got to be a good feature if they advertize about it so much. Maybe there's a learning curve?

Adding a counter is really easy on this blog site. You click on one of our counters and it will take you to the website. You set up a free account, choose your counter and then it gives you HTML code. You copy that and come into you Blogger Account to Edit your Template. You can either add it to the top or the side by clicking the Add HTML code. You paste it and it will put it in the right spot. Then you just drag it to where you want to see it.
